Apositiva Institute (formerly A Positive Change) is located on the lower level, next to the waterfall, in a 3-story restored Victorian Building, a 1/2 block East of Swan Mart at Barbur Blvd. & Hamilton Street. Hamilton Street is the connecting street between Barbur Blvd. and Corbett Street.

Apositiva is located approximately 1¼ miles south from I-405 and about ½ mile north of the Water Tower Shopping Center (which is between the north-south streets of Macadam and Corbett and on the east-west street named Boundary).
To get here coming south into Portland (heading south) Take Hwy. I-5 South, merge onto I-405 / I-26 west. Then take the 6th street exit (6th is one way north) and go to the first stop light – turn left and go one block to Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and follow the signs saying Barbur Blvd. You will make a few quick turns as the signs lead you onto Barbur Blvd. Immediately you will see a big building (Allstar Fitness) with a running track, if you check your speedometer now Hamilton Street is the next stop light .9 mile south of the YMCA. Be in the left lane at the light (for a landmark a small store with a green awning [Swan Market on it] is on your left). We are the only three story building on your left in the middle of the block. Heading north into Portland on I- 5 take the Corbett Exit (#298), stay left at the stop sign. Turn left onto Corbett and go to the top of the hill, this is also the first stop sign / flashing stop light you come to.Turn left onto Hamilton and the office is in the middle of the block on your right.
From I-84 heading east turn onto I-5 South and follow the top directions.
From I-26 heading east stay in the right lane as you go through the tunnel. This flows onto I-405 / I-84, then take the first exit which says 6th Ave and Ross Island Bridge. Follow the Barbur Blvd. signs and once you are next to the Allstar Fitness, follow the last part of the directions at the top of this page.
PARKING: FREE 2-hour street parking (week-ends hours are unlimited). Parking is on both sides of the street. Please park on the street where the residential signs permit.
